Dear Friend:
In centuries past, communities banded together to assist each other with a myriad of community projects. My Grandmother EulaMae loved to share the stories of how, as a young child growing up in rural North Carolina, she would bring buckets of water to the many adults who were sawing and hammering a neighbor's barn into reality or helping to build a new church home. In this millennium, most barn-raisings are memories of the past. However, I know that same community support is as strong as ever among our New Thought spiritual family. Centered firmly in this awareness, the Trinity Center for Spiritual Living proudly announces our own Center-Raising.
Over the last couple of years, our center has experienced a significant increase in new members. They have joined TCSL to expand their consciousness through the study and practice of new thought spiritual principles. As a result, our center is bursting at the seams! We need a new home that is large enough to serve everyone who wants to become a part of our wonderful spiritual community.
Our vision is to provide services everyday for those seeking to expand their spiritual connection. Our current facility is not available on a daily basis. We have established a visioning group and we conduct daily affirmative prayer work for our new facility. Our fund raising committee is active.
Once our "center" is raised, we will focus our efforts on other New Thought Centers with growing needs. We hope to be a catalyst in bringing back the days when barn-raisings and center- raisings were common community events.
To transform our vision into form, we are turning to you, the Global New Thought Community. What we ask is your active participation and support of one of our center-raising activities, the TCSL CENTER RAISING CAMPAIGN. The goal of the TCSL CENTER RAISING CAMPAIGN is to have 10,000 members of the Global New Thought community donate $10.00 dollars to the TCSL BARN RAISING CAMPAIGN and who WILL forward this request to their immediate new thought family and invite them to participate as well. With your active participation in donating only $10.00 and asking your immediate new thought family to participate, TCSL will have raised its center, in a very short period of time!

In closing, I envision the day when we will share with the children and grandchildren of our generation how the Global New Thought Community banded together to produce modern day barn-raising and center-raising facilities for sister centers. What a message of spiritual love we will have to share!
